Managing by the Numbers: An Introduction to Performance Evaluation and Costing for Small Transit Systems

The purpose of this workshop is to provide managers, finance personnel, policy board members, and other system personnel with practical ways to design and implement a performance tracking system for their transit operation. Tools, strategies and suggestions will be provided which will help participants evaluate their transit system's performance, improve decision making, and develop reporting mechanisms which can provide important data for the agency itself, customers, policy makers, and funding agencies.
