Training & OutreachTransit Vendor Show Basics Vendor shows can be valuable for the transit associations who sponsor them, the vendors who participate, and the participants who attend. Relationships are key to making this work. Sponsoring associations must develop partnerships with vendors; they must encourage transit managers to make purchases from those vendors; they must build time into conferences for attendees to visit the vendor show; and they must treat vendors as part of their organization during the conference. Revenues gained from vendor shows can provide funding to cover costs for the transit conference or additional training for providers.
