Attendees will leave will a firm understanding of various funding formulae and how they impact their district. This event was hosted in Valley City on Dec. 5 and in Minot on Dec. 12.
Module 8: Safety & Security
Dec. 5 & 12, 2006 - This training session will focus on the sources and methods of managing risk in school transportation including human, vehicular, and operational factors. This event was hosted in Valley City on Dec. 5 and in Minot on Dec. 12.

Module 7: School Transportation Technology
Nov. 14 & 15, 2006 - School transportation technologies will be introduced. The process of evaluating the need for and implementation of technology will be discussed. Attendees will be provided with an understanding of the tools needed to manage the annual revision of their district's routes. This event was hosted in Devils Lake on Nov. 14 and in Bismarck on Nov. 15.

An Introduction to School Transportation Efficiency
Oct. 26, 2005 - Introductory concepts are presented. A definition of efficiency in the context of school transportation is offered as are methods for measuring efficiency. A number of possible opportunities for improving school transportation are covered. The presentation concludes with coverage of the topic of school transportation finance and its relationship with system efficiency.
