Development and Design of the Roughrider Travel Management Coordination Center

Mounting challenges facing community transportation and education providers in southwest North Dakota have resulted in a new, region-wide willingness to reorganize transportation resources, including the use of school buses to provide non-student transportation.

The project will provide the foundation for the implementation of an innovative ITS-enhanced community transportation system in southwestern North Dakota. The effort will also provide a model for other rural and remote communities to utilize in their own system design.
